Ortiz MMA is hosting an open house at our state of the art facility in downtown Eau Claire and everyone is invited.  The Open House will be Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Classes for this day are free so aspiring members of the MMA community can meet our fighters and experience the type of training we offer.  We will also be doing a raffle in which you could walk away with some prizes. we will also have a judo contest where you can throw down with our top judo instructor Raul, winner can go home with a Hayabusa Gi.

our open will be a great experience for you to enjoy. Whether you are bored and have nothing to do, or you just want a good ,solid learning experience about something you've never done before. I promise you this, you will enjoy our services once you are here and you may leave with most gear than when you walked in. our raffles will be kits that include, Muay Thai gloves and mitts, we will also give away shin guards, shin guards and a head protection gear. You can also win private lessons with our top instructors. Stop by to have fun and get some fight experience on the way.

My name is Juan Ortiz I am a retired MMA fighter in the UFC, current NAGA champion in the 165 weight class. I started to do MMA when I was 7 years old and I became in love with the sport. My first fight was at age 12 and it was a boxing tournament and I took second place. After that I kept going until I reached the professional level by age 19 and I left the UFC by age 24 for personal reasons. I am currently the owner of Ortiz MMA.

Our story, Ortiz MMA is a highly prestigious establishment in North America. Our specialty is MMA, but we are also qualified to teach in multiple styles of martial arts which include my Thai kick boxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, wrestling, boxing, taekwondo and judo. And we combine all styles in our advance level classes for MMA. Most of our instructors have a professional MMA background. Whether you are looking to get into shape, or fight in the ring and live the fighter’s lives, or maybe you are doing for self-defense and trying to increase your confidence. Even if you've never thrown a punch in your life. At Ortiz MMA we can accommodate to your level of expertise and fitness level so that you have a great learning experience with us.
